The Northamptonshire Centre for Independent Living provides support for disabled and older people across Northamptonshire and provides a range of services to help people to remain independent in their own communities. It is run by a user-led organisation. The Centre holds vast information relating to everything disabled people, their families and carers may need to know. Its Information Libraries contain information in a range of accessible formats with trained staff to help with issues such as assistive technology, benefits, Direct Payments, training and disability rights.

The main telephone line is open between 9 and 5 each weekday. You will be given a menu of numbers to choose from and your call will be routed to the person best able to help. Some services will only be open from 9.30 until 3 pm so please leave a voicemail if your call is not picked up and we will get back to you by the following working day at the latest.

We will be running an information and equipment clinic one day a week in our offices or in partner organisations – dates will be posted on our website or please phone the enquiry line.

The Centre also takes its services out into the community, if you would like to find out more about the outreach services then please visit the website or telephone the main number below.
