A lot of people either travel over the festive season or begin to plan next year’s holiday.
John Guinn, a travel consultant, has a travel show that is broadcast on UK Health Radio. To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3rd December), the agenda for one of his travel shows was disability focused-travel.
Simon Daize, the Disability Resource Centre Partnership Liaison Officer is interviewed by John, and talks about his own experience of flying, the partnership with Luton Airport and how proactive it is in planning facilities for all passengers.
Please note that the interview with Simon Daize begins 10 minutes into the broadcast, with Simon replying at the 11 minute duration.
The broadcast also features another speaker – Adam Mortimer from UK ECC who talks about the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility when travelling by air, as regulated by an EU directive.
